White Bear Lake senior Erika Townley was a double winner at the most exclusive regular-season track meet in the state Friday evening.

At the Hamline Elite Meet, Townley won the 100 hurdles in 14.78, overtaking Edina’s Evelyn Adams in the last few yards, and the 300 hurdles in 44.31.

Last June, she was state runner-up in both, with times of 14.59 and 42.88, behind a senior, Natalie Windels of Eagan.

Townley also anchored the Bears 4x400 team that placed second in 3:58.80, just behind Belle Plaine (3:58.23). She ran with Lauren Eckerle, Danielle Madden, and Bailey McCullough.

The Bears 4x800 team of Maddie Verkerke, Natalie Andres, McCullough and Eckerley placed fourth in 9:40.10.
