White Bear Lake put on good show for mom and dad by winning their Parent Appreciation Night game against Centennial 80-54 on Wednesday evening.

After falling behind 12-4 at the outset, the Bears (6-4) turned up their full-court defensive pressure to outscore the Cougars 35-17 the rest of the half and take a 39-29 lead, then poured in 41 points in the second half.

Jeremy Beckler, 6-foot-8 junior center, led with 23 points in the paint. Junior guard Sam Schwartz posted a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds while making five steals.  Senior forward Blake Charles poured in 16 points.Junior guard Carter Ehlers chipped in seven points and five assists.
