Dozens of student and parent volunteers pitched in to plant a pollinator garden behind Otter Lake Elementary School Saturday, June 1. Thom Green, a fourth grade teacher at the school, received a grant from the National Science Foundation and the University of Minnesota Citizen Science Driven to Discover program to help fund the garden, which will be part of the outdoor classroom space.
