Centennial stayed alive in the Section 5AAAA tournament with a 10-0 win over Osseo on Thursday. The Cougars (17-5) now face Rogers (15-7) on Tuesday, 4 p.m., at Zane Sports Complex in Brooklyn Park. If they win, they’ll meet Champlin Park at 6 p.m. Against Osseo, Alyssa Montero threw a two-hitter (six innings) with eight strikeouts. The Cougars had nine hits. CJ Jacobson was 2-for-4 (double), Julie Azure 2-for-4 (triple), and Rylie Perkins 2-for-3 (double). The No. 3 seeded Cougars lost their section opener to Irondale and have won twice in sudden-death.
