• An officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation in the 8000 block of I-35E Sept. 11. The 19-year-old driver was subsequently arrested for multiple narcotics violations.

• Officers received information regarding vehicles illegally passing on the shoulder in the area of Main Street and Wood Duck Trail Sept. 11. Extra patrol of the area was requested.

• A male came to the police station Sept. 11 inquiring about registering himself under the predatory offender registration.

• Officers received information regarding a theft report from the 6500 block of Enid Trail Sept. 12. Officers collected statements and evidence from the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

• An officer spoke with a resident from the 7800 block of Knoll Drive at the police department regarding a voicemail they had received from an out-of-area phone number Sept. 12. The message appeared to be an attempted scam, and the officer assisted the resident in blocking the phone number.

• Officers stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 8000 block of I-35E Set. 12. After further investigation, the driver was arrested for DWI.

• An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 1400 block of I-35E Sept. 13. An adult male was subsequently arrested for DWI, driving without a valid license endorsement for vehicle driven, speeding and fifth-degree possession of not a small amount of marijuana.

• Officers received a call regarding a possible theft of mail in the 300 block of Carl Street Sept. 13. Extra patrol was requested.

• A motorist reported a hit-and-run property damage crash in the area of Ash Street and Hodgson Road Sept. 13. There were no injuries, and damage was minor. No suspect has been identified at this time; the investigation is ongoing.

•An officer stopped a vehicle for several moving violations in the 8300 block of I-35W Sept. 13. The adult male driver was arrested for third-degree DWI and booked into the Anoka County Jail.

• Officers responded to a possible assault taking place at a residence in the 300 block of Ware Circle Sept. 14. After investigation, officers cited the suspect with fifth-degree fear of bodily harm or death and the suspect was transported to the hospital.

•Officers responded to a report of nonconsensual dissemination of private images in the 1100 block of Paul Parkway NE in Blaine Sept. 14. Officers learned the crime happened in a different city and referred the case there.

• Officers stopped a vehicle for a moving violation in the 6500 block of Pheasant Hills Drive Sept. 16. The juvenile driver and passenger were released after parents were advised of the police contact.

• Officers responded for a male shooting a BB gun at squirrels in the 1200 block of Buckthorn Lane Sept. 16. Officers located the male and advised him on city ordinance regarding BB guns within the city.

• An officer handled a bicycle theft report from a local business in the 700 block of Apollo Drive Sept. 16. The investigation is ongoing.

• A resident reported her vehicle as stolen in the 700 block of Town Center Parkway Sept. 16. Officers later located the vehicle and arrested an adult male driver for motor vehicle theft and driving without a license. The male was booked into jail.

•An officer stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 8000 block of I-35E Sept. 17. The male driver was cited for a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

 

The Centennial Lakes Police Department reported the following incidents:

• Officers were dispatched to a phone call report of a dog bite near Crossway Drive and Center Road in Circle Pines Sept. 12. The caller reported a dog bit another dog. Information was passed along to the community service officers for follow-up.

• Police conducted a stop of a bicycle in the 9900 block of Lexington Avenue in Lexington Sept. 12. The rider of the bike was subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance and had an active felony warrant.

•Officers were dispatched to the 420 block of Woodland Road in Circle Pines Sept. 13 for an assault that had just occurred. Officers spoke with an involved party. The case is pending.

• Officers responded to a damage to property report in the 1700 block of Main Street in Centerville Sept. 13. An unknown suspect kicked in a shed door, causing $200 in damage.

• Officers were dispatched to a theft in the 30 block of Central Street in Circle Pines Sept. 14. Police located the suspects in the area and one suspect was issued a citation.

• An adult male was arrested in the 20 block of North Road in Circle Pines Sept. 15 for DWI after he was pulled over for no seat belt and an equipment violation.

• Officers were dispatched to a theft report called in from the 10 block of East Golden Lake Road in Circle Pines Sept. 15. Officers took information about a stolen keyboard. There are no known suspects at this time.

• Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near Lexington Avenue and West Road in Circle Pines Sept. 15. Officers discovered a weapon and other violations and arrested an adult male and transported him to jail.

• Officers responded to the 400 block of Keith Road in Circle Pines Sept. 16 on report of a suspicious person. An adult male was located and cited for tampering with a motor vehicle.

• Officers were dispatched to the 10 block of Circle Drive in Circle Pines Sept. 17 on report of a theft. Officers took information regarding a license plate theft.
