The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department reported the following incidents:

• Officers made an attempt to serve a warrant at a residence in the 500 block of Ash Street Sept. 18. While at the residence, officers observed numerous ordinance violations and cited the homeowner for the violations.

• Officers observed a vehicle hit a dog in the 900 block of Main Street Sept. 18. The dog is believed to have only sustained minor injuries.

• Officers received a report of an unidentified male harassing citizens on a city walking trail in the 7000 block of Snow Owl Circle Sept. 18. Officers contacted the complainant and gathered information for the report.

• Officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of Post Road Sept. 19 to arrest a male on two outstanding warrants. The male was arrested on the warrants and is charged with fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. An adult female was also cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Officers responded to Centennial Middle School on a disorderly conduct call involving a juvenile male making inappropriate comments to a female student Sept. 19. Officers requested charges for disorderly conduct for the juvenile male.

• An officer responded to a call of a delivery driver driving recklessly in the 6500 block of West Shadow Lake Drive Sept. 19. The business was notified.

• Officers responded to a report of a head-on personal injury accident near Old Birch Street and Birch Street Sept. 20. One driver was transported by ambulance to a local hospital and both vehicles were towed from the scene.

• Officers responded to the area of Tart Lake Road and Langer Lane Sept. 20 to assist motorists who were stranded due to the heavy rain. Assistance was given to several motorists, as their vehicles were stranded due to high water.

• An officer responded to a theft report in the 600 block of Apollo Drive Sept. 20. Officers found a cell phone had been stolen. The case is under investigation.

• An officer took a report of a license plate that had been tampered with in the 6600 block of Pelican Place Sept. 21. There is no suspect information at this time.

• An officer stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 800 block of I-35W Sept. 21. The driver was subsequently arrested for fourth-degree DWI.

• Officers responded to assist with a person who have fallen out of a boat into Peltier Lake and didn’t resurface Sept. 22. The male was later located and found to be deceased.

• Officers received a phoned vandalism report from a resident in the 7200 block of Heather Court Sept. 23. Officers spoke with the complainant, who stated several things in his yard were tampered with but not damaged.

• Officers took a report of a possible threat made between a boater and a hunter on Centerville Lake Sept. 24. The information was documented in a police report.

 

The Centennial Lakes Police Department reported the following incidents:

• Police were dispatched to the 7000 block of Centerville Road in Centerville Sept. 20 on a phone call theft report. The caller advised his vehicle was stolen two nights ago.

• Officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of Woodland Road in Circle Pines Sept. 20 on a threat report. The police spoke with both parties to mediate the situation.

• Officers were dispatched to a report of a property damage hit-and-run vehicle accident in the 9100 block of Lake Drive in Lexington Sept. 21. The victim’s vehicle was hit while it was parked. There is no suspect information at this time.

• Police responded to a phone call report of a theft from motor vehicle in the 8800 block of South Highway Drive in Lexington Sept. 21. The caller advised an unknown suspect entered his vehicle and stole some small coins/currency. The total loss is estimated to be $50.

• Officers responded to a theft from motor vehicle report in the 3800 block of Woodland Road in Lexington Sept. 21. The caller advised an unknown suspect forced entry into a contractor’s truck, took property and damaged the vehicle. The total loss is estimated to be $1,500.

• An officer stopped two people for littering who were outside of a closed business in the 9000 block of Griggs Avenue in Lexington Sept. 22. An adult male and adult female were subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

• Officers were dispatched to Lexington Sept. 23 on report of criminal sexual conduct. Police gathered initial information and referred the incident to Anoka County Criminal Investigations Division.

• Police responded to a burglary report in the 100 block of Indian Hills Lane in Circle Pines Sept. 23. The caller reported an unknown suspect entered the garage and removed two items without permission. The total loss is estimated to be $250.

• Officers responded to a phone call theft report in the 1800 block of 73rd Street in Centerville Sept. 23. The caller advised a license plate was removed from her vehicle in the past week.

• Police were dispatched to a counterfeit bill report in the 9100 block of South Service Drive in Lexington Sept. 24. Officers took custody of two $20 bills that were attempted to be passed at a business. The business did not have a loss in the transaction, and a description of the suspect was obtained.
