About a dozen international exchange students attending Centennial and other area high schools experienced sunshine and relatively moderate Minnesota temperatures while participating in a broom ball game out on Golden Lake in Circle Pines Saturday, Feb. 17.

Students from many countries including Switzerland, Germany, Australia, Finland, Sweden, Colombia, Italy, Bangladesh and Spain experienced their first Minnesota winter as a part of Centennial’s International Weekend. In addition to broom ball and ice fishing, students attended a talent show and visited a local farm for a sleigh ride and bonfire.
