James Kenneth Peterson, age 78 of Red Oak, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2019 after a brief illness.  Jim was born March 18, 1941 in White Bear Lake, son of Juel and Ida Peterson. He was a graduate of White Bear Lake High School and served in the United States Air Force. He was employed by the United States Postal Service for 35 years.  Due to his love of golf, and aversion to Minnesota’s cold winters, Jim relocated to the Dallas, Texas, area with his wife in 1982.  He enjoyed many happy years of retirement golfing, fishing and spending time with his wife and grandchildren.  Jim is survived by his devoted wife Patricia ‘Pat’, daughter Anne (Angel Anguiano), sons Darrell (Liz) and Bob (Judy), 10 grandchildren (Joshua, Ethan, Ian, Ryan, Ross, Marissa, Rebekka, Zackery, Gavin, Jordan), 1 great-grandchild (Emma), and sisters Barbara (Galen Hanke) and Carol. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Denise.  Son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, Jim’s wry sense of humor, storytelling and love of family will be dearly missed.
