Lois Ann Moroney

Born in St. Paul February 11, 1934

Raised on Otter Lake, graduated from White Bear High School 1952, University of Minnesota 1956 - Bachelors in Occupational Therapy (cum laude).

Worked at Gillette and Hastings State Hospital and Metropolitan Medical Center (MMC). Registered diet and nutrition consultant with Shaklee Corporation 1978 – present.

Married June 29, 1957 at the St. Paul Catholic Cathedral to Richard Moroney.

Lived with a passion for life and serving others. Enjoyed water-skiing, snow-skiing, hunting, fishing, tennis, guitar, auto-harp, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, pontoon, and water bike, teaching nutrition and leading music in church.

Preceded in death by parents Harold and Rose Hansen; sisters Gloria (John) Mclean, and Geraldine (Alan) Letourneau.

Survived by husband Richard Moroney (McGrath, Minn.), sons Mark (Gayle), Randy (Kate), and Brady (Sandy); brother Marlin Hansen; grandchildren Donovan, Mackenzie, Alicia, Lindsay, Alex, Aiden; great-grandchildren Jameson, Cashton, and Delilah.

Funeral Service Wednesday, June 26 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Wahkon. Visitation one hour before service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Wounded Warriors Project.
