John William Bobeck was born on June 13,1931. He passed while in the hospital suffering from covid-19 on November 26, 2020. He is preceded in death by his wife Toshie Okutomi and his granddaughter Rebecca.

John leaves behind 2 daughters, Jean (Robert) McKeague, Jo Ann (Brian) Nelson, grandsons,John (Tiffany) Baranuk, Matthew (Alison) Baranuk, Daniel (Kris) McKeague, Jacob McKeague, Zachary McKeague and granddaughter Gabrielle, great grandchildren, Jack, Karly and Joe, nieces and nephews.

John had an adventurous life of which we heard many stories. He worked from lumber mills in Oregon to plantations in Georgia when he was just a boy.He married Toshie Okutomi in 1964 and moved to White Bear Lake. His favorite thing to do was to go to his cabin and fish. He worked hard and everyone at work liked him and he made many friends. He was popular at the retirement center where he lived because he had a great personality and loved to make people laugh. He made the best of his time there in spite of the covid restrictions.He will be missed by many, including his good buddy Bob Bergstrom and his card playing bestie Maryls Ulsaker.
