Eugene Barton Flowers "Gene" died peacefully, Wednesday, March 27 listening to his favorite music and surrounded by his loving family. 

Gene proudly served in the U.S. Army and spent his career working for Sheet Metal Workers Local 10. Gene was a avid poker and cribbage player. He taught the kids and grandkids the art of a good clean cribbage game. The kids tried for years and years and years to beat Papa Gene - rarely did they. Gene loved music, singing, telling stories and had many jokes and life lessons he shared with the kids. Gene and Marge loved to travel and drove their motor home all over the country. He loved and missed Marge dearly. 

Preceded in death by beloved wife Marjorie "Red", dog Sam, parents Donald and Dione Flowers, sister Maureen Carrell, brother Michael Flowers, daughter Candy Bell, grandson Joseph Saros, and granddaughter Molly Williams. 

Survived by daughter Sandy (Darryl) LeMire, Harvey (Theresa) Saros, Betty Flambures.

Grandchildren: Patrick (Jolie) LeMire -Benjamin, Bella, Brighton, & Grace, Lee (Brian) Adams -Lily & Harrison - Crista Bell, Danny (Mindy) LeMire - Joslyn (Tucker), William, Lainee, Izzy, & Jaxon, Rick (Kimm) Saros - Brody, Nolan, Mary (Kemal) Nezarevic - Aliyah, Leyla, Maya, Sanya.Many friends and card buddies.
