North Oaks Rummage Sale back for 21st year of doing good

It’s magic—drop off your donations or call for furniture pick-up on Sept. 7. Then see everything transform into cash for Children’s Hospital Association at the 21st annual North Oaks Rummage Sale on Sept. 14 and 15.

Once again, North Oaks Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) Guild II members will implement each step necessary for another successful rummage sale with all proceeds benefitting important programs at Children’s Minnesota.

For 21 years, the North Oaks community has helped by donating gently used, unneeded goods, volunteering at the sale, making cash donations, telling friends and family about the sale and shopping the sale (Sept. 14-15 this year).

The Guild website ( has information about the drop-off, sale times, how to volunteer, and much more. Click on the Volunteer tab for the link to the SignUpGenius form that shows dates and times volunteer help is needed.

Watch the September North Oaks News for more information, but the September donation drop-off is 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at the Shoreview Ice Arena. Start saving those items now as you review your garage, basement, closets, kitchen, family rooms, children’s clothes and whatever else you find. The website also has information on desired donations and those items that cannot be accepted. Then put your treasures in a convenient spot for dropping off at the ice arena on Sept. 7.
