In the special election for County Commissioner for District 1, Nicole Frethem came out ahead with 52% of the vote (Randy Jessup had 47% and write-ins accounted for less than a percent).

Voters approved Mounds View’s levy request by a margin of 61% in favor to 39% opposed (8,820 residents supported the proposal, while 5,684 opposed the request).

In addition, residents chose four candidates for School Board in Mound View’s District 621. Voters returned Jonathan Weinhagen and Sandra Westerman to the School Board. First-time candidates Heidi Danielson (appointed to the Board in 2019) and James DeMay won seats as well.

Voters in the White Bear Lake Area School District approved a $326 million building bond request to address building needs across the district by a margin of 57% yes to 43%.

The School Board election results for School District 624 (White Bear Lake) resulted in Angela Thompson, Margaret Newmaster and Scott Arcand taking the school board’s three open seats. Here are the full results:
