Save the St. Croix

It would be awesome to see articles in the Lowdown about climate change, especially the massive amount of water pollution the power plant in Bayport causes. There were old, corrupt studies saying that it didn't emit carbon dioxide, but it is one of the highest polluters in the country. I am originally from Stillwater and now live in L.A. Having recently survived the fires and flooding of Malibu, I am serious about needed change. Climate change denial is widespread, but this is not about politics. The facts are there. The river and area are beautiful, and they need to be protected. Save the St. Croix!
