Police have arrested a second man for his suspected involvement in the kidnapping and shooting of a St. Paul woman who was found in a May Township roadway earlier this month. 

At approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, Angel Ignacio Sardina-Padilla, 32, was arrested in north Minneapolis. His first appearance in Washington County District Court is this morning.

Sardina-Padilla faces charges of aiding and abetting first-degree murder for the benefit of a gang, aiding and abetting second-degree murder for benefit of a gang, and aiding and abetting kidnapping for the benefit of a gang.
