Hugo Lions have given nearly $1 million to community

At their end-of-year meeting following Good Neighbor Days last month, the Hugo Lions proudly displayed their contributions to date. The organization has given almost $1 million to the community since 1975. Mayor Tom Weidt attended the June 12 dinner meeting at Blacksmith Lounge, and praised the Lions for being valuable members of the community. “We couldn’t do at the city what we do without you guys,” he said.
