Mahtomedi tennis has a 5-3 record after beating North St. Paul and South St. Paul each 7-0 on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively.

The Zephyrs have lost to Blake 6-1, St. Cloud Tech 4-3 and Duluth East 4-3. They’ve also beaten Stillwater, Henry Sibley and Elk River, all 4-3.

Coach Julia Courter is experimenting with lineups. Seventh-grader Annika Munson plays No. 1 singles and has only one loss. Sarah Hoffman is always at No. 1 doubles. Otherwise every is being shifted around.

Against SSP last week, Munson, Liv Kent, Campbell Albers and Kayla Meslow won in singles. Hoffman teamed with Lauren Splett to win 1-doubles. Elena Carlson/Chloe Irvine won 2-doubles and Annika Hillstrom/Alayna Schwieters won 3-doubles.
