Century College received more than $4.6 million in federal grant money to expand its orthotics and prosthetics programs.

Century and four partner institutions have been awarded a total of $11.2 million to train more than 1,700 students over three years to address the shortage of qualified workers in the field of orthotics and prosthetics, which deals with the design, construction and fitting of devices that straighten or replace an injured or missing part of the body.
