Two local natives — a wheelchair basketball player and her coach — helped their University of Wisconsin-Whitewater team roll to a first-place finish in national collegiate competition. This summer they hope to help the USA women’s wheelchair basketball team win a third consecutive gold medal in the Paralympic Games in London.

Sarah Binsfeld, 24, already has two gold medals in her trophy case from representing the U.S. in a juniors world championship and an Americas games last year.
