NORTH OAKS — In new details emerging about a proposed 125-home development in North Oaks, would-be developer Pentom Land Co. estimated the homes would go on the market for an average of $425,000.
The Eden Prairie-based firm is interested in developing 125 residential units on a 62-acre site in North Oaks previously owned by the nonprofit Sisters of the Good Shepherd. Builder would be Mattamy Homes of Ontario, Canada. Plans call for more than 45 percent of the site to be dedicated to open space, with buffering of about 150 feet between lots. There would be no traffic through existing North Oaks neighborhoods.
