Pine County 4-H knows the power of cheese, having just wrapped up their 30th annual cheese fundraiser. On Saturday, Dec. 15, over $20,979.25 worth of cheese was delivered from Burnett Dairy in Wisconsin. The top three selling cheese families are Durheims, Nelsons and Wimmers. The top three clubs went to Kettle River Explorers, Ambitious Pines and Rock Creek Ramblers. All the profits from this fundraiser will be used on the 4-H youth in Pine County. Those interested in learning more about 4-H, contact the University of Minnesota Extension at (320) 591-1650 or (800) 657-3813.
