Last February two area residents filed reports of theft of property – but thanks to DNA, the alleged perpetrators have been identified.

Two arrested in Ann Lake Township

On July 15, 2015 the Kanabec County Sheriff’s Office along with members of the East Central Drug and Violent Offender Task Force executed a search warrant in Ann Lake Township following a report of a theft and missing property. A cooperating defendant identified a residence belonging to Roy Michael Duchene of Mora as a place where stolen property had been stored.

Sex offender relocates

The Kanabec County Sheriff’s Office reported that Richard William Reynolds, Jr., 46, a convicted level-three sex offender, has relocated within Kanabec County to rural Mora in the vicinity of 213th Avenue and Highway 65 on July 7.

Grasston burglary suspects caught on camera

Public drug bust stirs commotion in Cambridge

Escapees from a drug sting operation were arrested at gunpoint in the Cambridge Walmart parking lot on July 13, and one later escaped again from custody – and was still at large at press time.

Sex offender relocates

The Kanabec County Sheriff’s Office reported that Richard William Reynolds, Jr., 46, a convicted level-three sex offender, has relocated within Kanabec County to rural Brook Park in the vicinity of East Hardwood Lane and Sunrise Circle on June 15.
