WHITE BEAR LAKE — Two diehard bicyclists are enduring the strain and pain of the road in the Habitat 500 ride through Minnesota.
Local ride veterans Jeanette Leete and Sean Hunt are in their 18th and 15th Habitat for Humanity ride, respectively. The event is in its 20th year this week with 135 bicyclists and 40 volunteers on a journey through south-central Minnesota. The couple are helping raise funds that provide safe, affordable homes for low-income families.
